Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

This website belongs to me, Alex Sheleheda, a web developer based in Paignton, Devon, UK. This page explains what personal information I collect here, why I collect it, and what you can do about it. If anything is unclear, email me at alex.sheleheda@gmail.com.

What I collect

Only what you send me through the contact form:

I don't use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.

Why I use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if we decide to work together, to prepare a quote and do the work. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in replying to messages you send me, and taking steps you've asked for before we agree a contract.

Where it's kept

These companies may store data outside the UK, for example in the USA, using safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. I never sell your details or share them with anyone else.

The site's font is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with them.

How long I keep it

If we don't end up working together, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we do, I keep what I need for my records (for example, for tax) for as long as the law requires.

Cookies

This site doesn't use cookies. When you use the “Get a Quote” calculator, your answers are kept in your browser for the current visit only, so they can be attached to the contact form. They aren't sent anywhere unless you send the form, and they're cleared when you close the tab.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Just email me at alex.sheleheda@gmail.com and I'll reply within a month.

If you're not happy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
